Our Staff

Kristy Miller
Physical Therpaist
Kristy graduated from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut with her Bachelor of Science in PT. She has worked with patients in a multitude of settings and across all age ranges. She started working in pediatrics in England where she met her husband and started her family. After living there for nine years, she and her family relocated to Colorado to raise her family and be closer to extended family. Since practicing in Colorado she has worked closely with providers from the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind and has expanded her knowledge of working with children with blindness, visual impairments, deafness, and hearing loss. Kristy also has extensive experience working with children with rare genetic disorders and complex medical conditions. She prides herself on helping families learn how to help their children grow and succeed. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the world, hiking in Colorado, quilting as a gift, and learning through podcasts.

Sheila
Community Engagement Coordinator
Sheila started her advanced education by earning dual Bachelor’s degrees: one in early childhood development from University of Colorado in Colorado Springs with an emphasis in developmental psychology; the second, a degree in communications with an emphasis in people relations from Grand Canyon University. In addition to these, she now has her Master’s in public administration with an emphasis in health administration. Early on she had 6 years in early childhood development working with children who are medically complex which later transitioned to her working with young adults who are intellectually disabled. She has a passion for connecting with people and helping families find resources to support their loved ones with special needs. She brings experience as a parent of children with medical complexities. In addition to all of this, she loves learning, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. She has joined Kid Physical as our Community Engagement Coordinator to help all of our families find the resources they need to be successful.
