The Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) is a curriculum of skills that are taught to people with visual impairments in addition to their regular core curriculum of language arts, science, math and social studies. These are skills that are often learned incidentally by people with typical vision, but need to be specifically taught to those with visual impairments.
