Did you know that there is a national program called Early Intervention (EI) which is available for qualifying families with children ages birth through three years. All programs are collaborative, individualized and reflect the child’s and family’s priorities, learning styles, culture and community. This program was created to help your family get through normal daily activities like mealtime, grocery store trips and bathing.
Each state offers slightly different programs, but if you live in Colorado a child can be referred by anyone including medical professionals and family members if there are questions about whether a child is learning all of the skills expected for his/her age.
