Did you know that every state has a program for free eye and vision assessments with an optometrist for infants between 6 and 12 months?

This program is called InfantSEE and is a no-cost program managed by the AOA, the American Optometric Association, through their Optometry Cares Foundation. The foundation’s mission is “to empower the optometric profession in providing awareness and access to health and vision care for the public.” As one part of this, the foundation supports the InfantSEE program to encourage families to have vision care as an essential part of their wellness program.

In order to find a participating optometrist near you, visit the InfantSEE website and select the Find A Doctor option while making sure the Offers No-Cost Infant Assessments box is checked.
