Parker Recreation Center: Adaptive Multi-Sport Therapeutic Recreation

Therapeutic Recreation: Adaptive Multi-Sport is designed for children with disabilities with the intent to introduce or improve basic sport skills or simply to provide a safe space to move and make new friends. There are two age groups: 5 through 9 and 10 through 14. Seasons include exposure to a variety of sports that may be held indoors or out, depending on weather. The last week, we will revisit participants’ favorite sport from the season. Cost is $72 per participant. 

Anticipated schedule as follows:

• Sept. 13 – Soccer at O’Brien Park
• Sept. 20 – Tee-Ball at O’Brien Park
• Sep. 27 – Kickball at O’Brien Park
• Oct. 4 – Pickleball at Parker Recreation Center Outdoor Courts
• Oct. 11 – Basketball at Parker Recreation Center West Gym
• Oct. 18 – Climbing Wall at Parker Fieldhouse
• Oct. 25 – Volleyball at Parker Recreation Center West Gym
• Nov. 1 – Players Choice at Parker Recreation Center West Gym
